1925
Land acquired in September for erection of village hall.

1926
Parish Room accounts start in April (presumably when hall has been completed). Hall lit by two paraffin lamps and heated by two slow combustion solid fuel stoves. Insurance exclusions are no dramatic performances requiring the use of scenery and no cinematograph entertainment. Piano acquired. First whist drive and dance.

Village hall hired regularly as waiting room for Mobile Child Welfare Centre when it visits village. Note to users of hall requesting to empty the bucket in the ladies cloakroom after each function. Purchase of chemical lavatory (Destrol Kemflush Closet).

1961
Hall considered as storage and distribution point for processed milk due nuclear tests scare of fresh milk for very young children. Ministry of Health state no likelihood that the nuclear tests which have occurred so far will raise the Iodine in milk in any part of the country to a level which would make it unfit for children under one. Scheme therefore not implemented.

Last coal delivery.

Electric heating installed. Youth Club.

Bingo evenings held in many of these years.

New toilet and washbasin.

Land registered to trustees of hall.

1997
Cold Aston Village Hall registered as a charitable trust. Land held in trust by Official Custodian for Charities for Cold Aston Village Hall charity. Major fund raising initiative - events include Quiz Night, Scottish Evening, Dickensian Evening. Kitchen improvements.

1999
Theatre Supper.

2000
Open Day. Quiz Night.

2001
75th Anniversary.

2002-2006
Monthly village coffee mornings with 100 Club draw. Monthly film nights during the winter months. Regular yoga classes. Fund raising events including Burns Nights, Quiz Nights, Promises Auction, theatre suppers.
